Who We Are
Who We Are
People Plan Toronto (PPT) is a group of active, engaged citizens committed to changing Toronto's planning process. For two consecutive years, we have co-ordinated grassroots forums to discuss planning issues with residents' groups in the city. In 2007, we created the Neighbourhood Planning Summit, bringing together over 140 people from communities across Toronto and creating the "People's Plan for Toronto". In 2008, we held neighbourhood forums in Scarborough, Etobicoke and North Toronto, culminating in a panel discussion at the St. Lawrence Centre Forum entitled "Putting the Citizen Back into Planning". Among its other activities, PPT is currently exploring the creation of a Community Planning Resource Centre for Toronto. We invite all who are interested to join the fight for a better Toronto!
